Photographed with the Nikon scanner lens, which makes a wonderful 100mm f/2.8 macro lens.
I took 81 images, with each image focused at a slightly different distance. (The camera was moved a little over 20mm, one quarter mm at a time.) I combined the images in what is called a focus stack, using a tool in Affinity Photo 2.
