The new medium format camera is a Phase One IQ4, an upgrade from the IQ3. It seems to be a brilliant piece of kit, as the Brits would say. More pixels, improved color fidelity, and it has quite a few convenience features that make it easier to get a good exposure.
Normally, if you are setting up a medium format camera on a tripod, you have a fairly long list of details to take care of before you can begin shooting. In this case, it was much closer to 35mm camera work: install lens, insert memory card, find the right exposure and shoot. No fuss, no muss. ;)
This exposure is 1/20th of a second at f/8, ISO 50. Lens is digital version of an old-old design—sharper and more precise that the old larger format lenses that inspired its design. More specifically, it is a Rodenstock APO Sironar digital 60mm f/4 lens.
