Bird fights over food at our backyard feeder are really fast. So I figured they just poke at each other and it’s done. But no…they are aggressive little shits, and they fight pretty hard (though they don’t go to the extreme of hurting each other, not that I’ve seen).
This is a stop motion video, made from high-quality shots with my Sony A1 and the Canon 300mm lens (with 1.4X extender, so shot at 420mm focal length).

Interesting. The hummingbird's here are particularly vicious around the rose of Sharon bushes, though there are many.
