Blackbird Courtship
Many birds have display postures used for mating. I never knew this was also true of blackbirds; I thought it was just exotic jungle species.
The male typically calls intermittently while posing. I’ve attached a link to a YouTube video that has more information. It’s about eastern blackbirds, but is mostly similar to what I see in the Pacific Northwest.
