Colorful Sunset
As the earth rotated our town away from sunlight, a strange phenomenon occurred: less light, more color. Oh, the tricks you can do with a thicker medium!
Light has a cute trick: as it moves through air, the blue light gets scattered more easily, so sunsets are mostly shades of red and orange. This makes our eyes happy.
Photographed with a 35mm Schneider lens and Phase One IQ4 digital back. Here are a few later views of the same sunset, where even the red light was getting very tired and mot making it all the way to my eyes, boo-hoo!
