Our house has quite a few flowing plants on all sides. The bees love a lot of it; many other insects also love it.
I figured the critter above was some kind of moth, but no: it’s actually a butterfly, a type called a skipper. I had never heard of them before I saw them around our place. They are strongly attracted to the lavender plants, and spend as much time feeding on them as the bees do.
