I was looking for a good photo opportunity last week, down by South Prairie Creek. I wasn’t finding anything really special until I pointed by camera at a few white berries still clinging to a branch. I didn’t realize how alive they looked until I got home and looked at the the result above.
There were some other interesting fall plants in the same area; this bit of grass looks oddly inviting:
