Beautiful foggy morning today. As the sunshine began to cut through it—quite unexpected; we are supposed to be in a week-long heavy-rain extravaganza here in Seattle—little pockets of beauty were revealed.
I caught the drop above with a microscope objective on my digital camera. This was the first time I was outside on my own since I broke my ankle, and it was…interesting. Dragging a heavy camera on a heavy tripod was worth it, though. I had no idea that the tips of tree branches were this intricate as they shut down in the fall.
