Female Downy Woodpecker
Lot of visiting birds at the feeders today; blame the rough weather
The wind was harsh today, it was raining steadily, and the temps were cold but not too bad. So naturally when the rain let up for a bit, I grabbed my camera and headed outside to photograph birds.
Shot with my Canon 300mm lens plus 1.4X teleconverter, for 420mm focal length. I used my Sony a7R IV with a Metabones adapter. ISO 800, 1/500th second, f/5.6.
Here’s another visitor, a chestnut-backed chickadee, same camera settings.
