The wind was harsh today, it was raining steadily, and the temps were cold but not too bad. So naturally when the rain let up for a bit, I grabbed my camera and headed outside to photograph birds.
Shot with my Canon 300mm lens plus 1.4X teleconverter, for 420mm focal length. I used my Sony a7R IV with a Metabones adapter. ISO 800, 1/500th second, f/5.6.

Aww, birds in the wild! I have to admit, all I know about these two birds comes from the book Winter Tree Birds by Ozone and Hawkinson. The downy woodpecker, the tufted titmouse, the chickadee, the brown creeper, and the nuthatch :-)
