This is by far the sharpest image of the moon I’ve ever gotten from one of my Seattle backyards. I think partly it was unusually good seeing (steady air), and partly it was the new 200-600mm lens with 1.4X tele extender (for a net of 840mm of focal length). This has proven to be a very sharp lens, and it outshines some of the telescopes I’ve used.
I had to blow it up to 200% just to see some slight imperfections. I can recommend this hardware wholeheartedly.
Impressed! Remarkable detail!
