This fellow just popped in and I got off a shot even though I knew the settings where not anything like what was required. The resulting image was really dark, but I boosted brightness significantly to recover the shot. (It was about three stops underexposed.)

It was the ISO 100 that gave me such a dark exposure. The sun had come out, and I always try to go as low as I can on the ISO for the cleanest image. But then the sun went away, and the flicker showed up before I had a chance to correct the exposure. Despite the underexposure, this shot processed out well, and is extremely sharp. The bird’s-eye focus on the a1 is a huge asset.
This is what the raw shot looked like. I really was surprised at how well it could be recovered.
