Goat Breath in the Morning
Backlit goats breathing the cold air.
Just happened to notice the neighbor’s goats exhaling in the early morning air, backlit by the sun. Had a better shot before this one—but no camera! By the time I got outside this was the best shot.
Sony a7R IV with 70-200mm lens at ISO 125, f/2.8, 1/2500th second. Full zoom at 200mm.
A little backstory: I thought I had lost these shots; they were taken last week. It turned out that the memory card I usually use was not in the camera, so these went on the backup card. I finally thought to check it today, and the shots were there.
Whatever it took to get this picture, worked. Sweet, serene morning picture. Thanks!
