Miniature Sunflowers
Donna planted some tiny sunflowers, and they stood out, beautiful in the evening gloom.
I shot this as I was leaving the house on an errand around 8pm. The whole day was cloudy. It had started to rain just before sunset, and the evening was settling down like a soft gray blanket. I could hardly miss these miniature sunflowers with their bright yellow faces.
Sony α1 and 85mm f/1.2 Canon lens. ISO 100, f/1.4, 1/160th second.
This was underexposed by more than a stop, but I was able to recover detail in processing in Capture One.
