I have been driving out to Graham, WA for the last few years to get my best view of Mt. Rainier. There is high ground in spots along the highway, but I often follow the Carbon River east, and then go west on local roads to my favorite spot.
When I do that, I go past the Mt. Rainier View Winery. I finally stopped to do a little tasting, and their wine is ooh-la-la (in the French styles, with active yeast). I liked it, took a bottle home, and no one else appreciated it. :(
Still, I also got some photos from their parking of Mt. Rainier; the view is indeed quite good. Photo taken with the Contax 35mm lens on the Phase One IQ4 150 digital back.
Nice pic. Wish I could have tasted the wine!
