Mt. Rainier and the Four Stumps
[This photograph is available as a 16”x24” print. Please email me at rwodaski@me.com for more information.]
This is a photograph of the life cycle of trees in the Pacific Northwest.
The rugged, natural decay of the stumps makes a good contrast with the stone and snow of the mountain. Between there is a logged section of former forest, ironically providing the view of Mt. Rainier. (You can’t see Mt Rainier from most locations because of the height of the native trees!)
Shot with the Sony α1 with the 70-200mm lens at 70mm focal length. Although this is the first photograph I’m offering to supply a print of, I can supply prints now for any of my photographs. No store-front yet, but email me if you are interested.
