In addition to the single image of Mt. Rainier I posted earlier, I also took 16 images in two rows of eight: One set of the sky, one set of the land, with some overlap to match them up later.
Sadly, I couldn’t make the really big panorama; there was curvature because of camera tilt. Only the central portion was usable, and that is what you can see above: the middle four from the top and bottom rows. If you step back and look at the whole thing, you can see that the horizon curves upward at the outer edges. It got much worse outside this range, so I had to scrap those shots.
Shot with the Phase One camera and the 150mm f/2.8 lens. That lens is super sharp; here is the central portion of the image at 70% of full size:

The brightness range in this image was enormous, so I had to tame it in steps to bring out the brightest and darkest details. It took about six hours of processing to get this panorama done.
