Mt. Rainier Panorama
I've been trying to get a clean panorama of this valley for a long time. Finally!
I have had any number of attempted panoramas of this valley that have failed for one reason or another, but I finally figured out how to do it correctly today. I carefully leveled the tripod and head, and then swept the camera from side to side to get a series of five aligned images.
The issues in the past have most been about misalignment; a panorama this wide has to be perfectly set up to work.
I stitched the images in Photoshop, there was only minor edge fixing required this time. All of the exposures are ISO 50, 1/640th second, f/8.
This one is way too wide for a monitor, but you can click on the image to see it full size and scroll around to see details of country life around here. This is just a few miles from our home.
