Woke up to this light show this morning. I looked out the living room window and that was what I saw. Sky on fire? WUT?
Rainbow. Fogbow. Celestial light show. It was just after sunrise, and as near as I can figure (because this was very brief, I was very lucky to get a photo), this was a combination of sunrise lighting up the low clouds, a rainbow, a faint secondary rainbow, and light reflecting off the raindrop surfaces in the area ‘inside’ the rainbow. All standard reflections and refractions, but affected by the low sun angle and limited illumination overall in the heavily cloudy conditions.
Shot with the new Fujifilm GFX 100S II camera and the Fujifilm GF 20-35mm zoom lens.
