Just caught sight of a raven in the forest as it was taking off.

I have always been fascinated with Ravens. I lived in Sitka, AK for three hears, right next to Totem Park, and I would always hear amazing raven sounds when I walked in the park. They make quite a variety of sounds—my personal favorite I call “dropping nickels in a can” because that’s what it sounds like. You’d have to hear it to understand.

Ravens are a very unique bird; they are a real depth of personality and are really smart. I was pretty happy to get these images; reminds me of my time in Alaska back in the 1980s.
