About an hour before sunset, driving home, I noticed that Mt. Rainier was beginning to peek out from the clouds. As the sun was setting, I sent the drone up for a look. Instead of peeking, the mountain was sitting in the midst of a bowl of clouds. It was so well shrouded that I almost didn’t see it!
The sunset itself was also pretty nice:
You can see South Prairie Creek at bottom center, and fog already forming in the valleys. The upper clouds were a little bright for the drone camera, but I won’t complain. :)
