This little fellow called attention to himself.

This little fellow was chirping away in one of the apple trees, didn’t seem to much care who was in the audience. On a hunch, I converted the image to black and white, and the leaves positively glow.

Shot with a Son yS7S II camera and Sony 200-600mm telephoto lens. ISO 1000, 1/1000th second, f/10.

Here is the original color version. I like it, but the B&W version feels imaginative and special.
