I had a spot along Voight Creek where I have been thinking to pull over and look for some good photos ops. There is a fish hatchery there, and I have been photographing that from the other side of the creek. There is a small waterfall there, plus a lot of industrial grade pipes and concrete, so I wasn’t really expecting something as serene as this view. But the water above the hatchery ponds nicely, is quite still, and makes for nice reflections.
Phase One XF camera with 35mm Schneider-Kreuznach lens. Shot at ISO 50, f/4, 0.4 seconds. I used an 8-stop neutral-density filter to allow for a longer exposure, which smooths the water out a bit more than a normal fast exposure.
Overall, a successful picture. Wouldn't mind more water, less sky.
