Fortunate to get good contrast through all the smoke from fireworks
It's been quite a while since I've seen the moon two nights in a row.
A thin crescent moon, a little after sunset.
Our skies are more dark-adjacent than actually dark, but in summer, it takes hours after the sun sets to get a sky even this dark.
There were some high clouds, which made for a dramatic daytime moon photo
Really sharp - looks like ideal conditions tonight for astrophotography.
