Thanks. That one is special for me. We have a few Pileated—they are tearing up the wooden posts on the back porch near the feeders. But so beautiful and interesting. We call them Pterodactyls. As to identifying the bird, no doubt, but I am not that curious myself. I should however take a picture of the entire feather; that photo is maybe 5% of it.
