Thanks. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t even noticed it before; I have driven past there probably 10 or so times in the last year. :) I need to go back and take a shot with the medium format camera; it has better dynamic range, and would handle the range of darks and lights better.
It is so weird what we notice as Artists Like you said, you have walked by so many times and didn’t see it as a subject. Sometimes it really is the light. And maybe sometimes it’s our bandwidth but I thought this one was outstanding.
I like this photo a lot. Letting it breathe by using pano was a good decision. The distance gives it a lonely, abandoned feeling.
