The lens I used for these shots is a rare bird. It's an extreme wide angle, and one of the first of that type of lens to be able to capture sharp detail. It was one of the first old-school lenses to be updated to work with digital sensors. The version of the image I post has to be less than 16MB; the original images are around 150MB and up. I think I will sometimes crop the image to include some actual-size sharp details.
I notice the extreme amount of detail in the foreground. I can see every chunk of ice. This spot looks familiar to me. I like it.
