Thanks. I loaded all three photos into Photoshop, and then copied from two of them and pasted into layers in the third. I used a feathered selection, and careful positioning to get things to line up. The jumps made the branches move a little, so it was tricky, but in the end it worked. :)
Thanks. I did not have to get close; I used a long telephoto lens (420mm) to zoom in. BTW: I notice that the little fellow has some pretty classic chiaroscuro going on.

I love this sweet series of Junkos. I rarely paint them as I cannot get a good closeup shot either. They are so active and quick.
